DAVID RYAN

I'm an Australian entrepreneur helping online service-based business get loyal clients and build a trusted brand, while empowering young children to build confidence and chess skills for success in school and life!

I specialise in developing lead generation systems that help business owners create a trusted brand and attract clients who keep coming back.

I also founded Chess Confidence with the mission to help children worldwide develop the skills they need for success, not just in chess, but also in school and life. Skills like confidence, critical thinking and communication skills.

But getting to where I am today has been quite the journey...

From Graduating High School

Before graduating, I felt lost, like most people.

I had no clue what to do, but I knew everything would work out… somehow.

After graduating, I felt like I had 5 options

- Go full time at my job

- Go to Uni

- Go to Tafe

- Get a trade

- Or join the army

But I knew there was something else… so I chose to quit my job, move out and figure it out.

Finding An Opportunity

I found an opportunity to join a 3 day marketing event for a few thousand (most I’d ever spend on something before)

I ended up marketing for a few people from the event (for free to build my skills and help them out)

But I wasn’t 100% confident that I could deliver results for new clients, even though I had succeeded with others.

So I choose to develop my skills and market my own business.

And I thought… 'What’s the simplest service I can offer with my limited skills?’

Finding My Vehicle For Success

Well I’m good at chess… so let’s give it a go.

I built a funnel, ran some ads, all to teach children chess online.

For nearly 6 months, I did free classes to build my skills up again, get testimonials and it cost a few thousand over that time to run.

(Remember: If you’re good enough at something to teach children, you already have a business you can start today)

And I had a few struggles monetising it

(which I share more about on my social media pages)

but I managed to turn it into a successful business that allows me to travel, meet the most amazing people, and continue growing each day!

Where I Am Currently At

And now I’ve met some of the most amazing people like Kevin Costner, Rick Hoffman and Tonino Lamborghini from running Chess Confidence and marketing for business owners.

I've helped hundreds of children online, building their confidence and skills.

And I've helped business owners attract their ideal clients, leading to more sales and loyal clients.

I share this not to brag, but to show you that this will take a lot of effort, sacrifice and action.
